This is was the yarn looked like undyed.
This is the Kool-aid I used.
Then I boiled the yarn in kool-aid, vinigar, and water.....
....and this is the result. A really pretty orange color. this is some undyed next to the new dyed yarn.
What I am holding is raw sheep wool...straight from the sheep's back. And there is the finished product in the background. It is really cool to think that some of the earliest humans were spinning. I wonder what I should make out of this yarn..I will also post for today sometime this evening.
